Rosedale Park features include a softball/youth baseball field, playground and picnic shelter. Adjacent to the park and field is the historic Rosedale Hall, available for small meetings and gatherings.

Park Description
This 2.3-acre site is located across from Rosedale Market. Rosedale Playfield has one combination fenced grass youth soccer field, one grass 200-foot softball diamond, two outdoor tennis courts, and one half-basketball court. Rosedale Hall is located adjacent to the tennis courts. This facility is currently operated and available for reservations. The 2,400-square-foot building provides 2,000 square feet of meeting space with a 400-square-foot kitchen and can be rented for community and organization events.
Unless in an off-leash area, all dogs must be leashed within our parks. Report an off-leash dog or other animal issues by contacting Pierce County Animal Control. Animal control officers are responsible for enforcing the laws and codes involving animals within our parks.

History
Rosedale Park officially became a public park in 1964 after a long history as Rosedale Public School #26. When the Peninsula Athletic Association (PAA) managed the park, the organization received a grant from Starbucks to add tennis courts and a picnic shelter. In April of 2007, Rosedale Park ownership was transferred to PenMet Parks from Pierce County. Part of Rosedale Park, Rosedale Hall is beloved by local residents. Over it’s century-long life, the hall has played a pivotal role in the community. It has served as a school, a church, an exercise studio, and hosted countless community groups and events. The original structure was built in 1918 then disassembled and moved to its current location in 1925 when it became Rosedale Hall. At the back of the building it gained a small addition sometime around 1940, and sits on a bucolic, natural setting, framed by fir trees and rhododendrons with a simple, gravel parking area.
