Counselor-in-Training Program
The CIT Program is a volunteer opportunity for teens interested in gaining hands-on experience in youth recreation. Participants work alongside camp staff to support daily activities, assist with games, help manage small groups, and serve as positive role models for younger campers.
CITs build leadership, communication, teamwork, and responsibility skills while contributing to a safe and positive camp environment. This program is ideal for teens who enjoy working with children and are ready to take on increased responsibility in an active camp setting. It also provides valuable preparation for future employment and continued leadership development.
CITs must be available to assist with at least two camps during the summer. Scheduling is flexible based on availability. A background check is required for all participants.
The CIT program is full for 2026. If you would like to be considered for next year, please fill out the interest form below or contact .
